The Ads Section -
The ADS section provides a "passive" service for members to place an ad (voice mailbox) in a selected "category/age group" combination on the system. An example might be:

  • category   = "friendship to dating"
  • age group = "18 to 24 yrs. of age"
Once the ad is recorded, the system issues a mailbox number and a passcode to the caller. Both allow the owner of the ad direct access to their mailbox, at any time, when on the system.

The mailbox number is also referenced by other members on the system to record and send messages, when responding to the owner's ad. Whenever the owner of the ad wishes to check for messages and send replys, the owner enters their mailbox number and personal passcode for access to their mailbox.

The ADS system, in general, provides the caller the ability to listen to any approved ads, in selected "category/age group" combinations, and exchange messages with the owners of other ads, in a passive fashion.

The ADS system, also, provides a "back door" administrative channel (telephone line) to issue and maintain complete control over the accounts of paid subscribers, as well as the ability to audit and reject ads on the system for unathorized activity or recorded content.

The system also has a feature called "eletronic re-order". While a member is on the system, their account balance is constantly being re-adjusted. As their account balance approaches zero, they are sent a message apprising them of the fact, and to call customer service should they wish to purchase more system time. If their account decrements to a balance of zero, they are sent a message, thanking them for using the system and instructing them to call customer service, should they wish to purchase additional time. They are then, cordially, escorted off the system.

However, if the member's account has a pre-authorization flag set, they will be given the option, while still on the system, to purchase additional time, without the need to contact customer service. They are simply routed to the "electronic re-order room" to select additional time, and, upon completion, routed back to their prior location on the system.

This feature is usually offered to members in "good standing", with no complaints or account discrepancies (like a platnum credit card).

Customer service may download the auto re-orders on a periodic basis, to process the time purchases, based on the method-of-payment associated with the account (credit card/debit card/phone check).

The Chat Section -
The CHAT section is a common meeting "room" in which callers can pass real-time messages back and forth, or enter into personal "1-on-1" connections between male and female callers.

All callers are required to record a personal greeting prior to entering the chat-room.The personal greeting typically consists of a person's first name and a brief description of themselves. After recording their greeting, the caller enters the chat room, where they will hear the greetings of other callers, of the opposing gender, on the system.

As the caller listens to each greeting a menu of options is played. The menu, most notably, allows the caller to record and send messages, or request a live "1-on-1" connection with the owner of the current greeting. The menu actually provides a rather extensive array of options for message passing, "1-on-1" connections, re-recording greetings, "blocking" harassing callers, re-playing last message sent to, or received from, other callers, etc...

Should a male and female caller enter into a personal "1-on-1" connection, either party may terminate the connection at any time and both callers will be returned to the chat room, once again, where they may resume listening and responding to other callers on the system.

The CHAT system provides a "back door" administrative channel (telephone line) to issue and maintain complete control over the accounts of paid subscribers, as well as the ability to monitor and remove callers on the system for unathorized activity or recorded greeting content.

The system also has a feature called "eletronic re-order". While a member is on the system, their account balance is constantly being re-adjusted. As their account balance approaches zero, they are sent a message apprising them of the fact, and to call customer service should they wish to purchase more system time.
