Who We Are

Seattle Voice Systems, L.L.C. is a software development company with 18 years experience in the voice telephony industry and 30 years in hardware, firmware and operating system (real-time kernel event/driver) level design.

Our credits include designing a variety of commercial telephony applications for both Unix and Windows environments. However, our flagship products are designed primarily for the adult entertainment voice industry, using the Windows environment.

Our goal - Three elements relevant to the success of any business are:

  1. knowledge of the industry
  2. availability of resources
  3. cost
Until now, it's been difficult for the novice or small business entrepreneur to seriously establish themselves in the "adult entertainment voice industry".

Developers, providing the software, typically, insist on steep pricing arrangements, royalties, joint venture agreements, or profit splits. That's not unreasonable, considering the time and effort required to design the software, and it's potential for generating tremendous revenue. Unfortunately, that has made the software inaccessible, and forced the mainstream of those wishing to enter the market no alternative, except to go through service bureaus.

Service bureaus, claim to provide inexpensive access to the market. In truth, they are not inexpensive, nor are they risk-free. Service bureaus often benefit from:

  • initial setup fees,
  • management fees,
  • measured call traffic/transport charges (per-minute),
  • resale of bandwidth to multiple clients,
  • sales of (900) billing service,
  • requiring their clients bear the cost of marketing/advertisement,
...all while the service bureaus dictate and control the distribution of profits.

Often, their arrangements prove to be considerably more expensive than initially introduced. They encourage reinvestment and expansion, as long as all remains under their management, allowing them to control the distribution of profits. Service bureaus, in fact, try to discourage the very concept of owning your own dateline system. Doing so would cut into the very market which has been so generous to them.

We would like to level the playing field, by making available to the general public, the same caliber product, employed by the professionals.
