Hardware Configurations
Our software products are designed to run on desktop, half-height tower,
or industrial grade rackmount systems. You'll require 1 or more
available PCI or ISA slots in your system, to install the desired number of
T-1, E-1 or Analog Dialogic voice telephony card(s). If you have any questions about configuration
issues, please, feel free to contact us.
Assuming you're new to the market and starting up your first 16 voice
line telephony service. You may consider running the service on your own
PC. Simply keep in mind that you'll require 1 available ISA
slot, in your PC, to install the required Dialogic D/160SC-LS card.
As your service grows, and you've run out of available PCI or ISA slots
for additional Dialogic cards, you may consider switching to a
larger telco grade voice server, possibly comprised of the following:

- (1) 19" Rackmount (steel and aluminum) Computer chasis with two
600 watt power, containing:
- (4) 82-CFM ball-bearing fans (hot-swap)
- (4) drive bays:
- (4) 5.25" open drive bays (Shock mounted)
- -Easy removal/installation via thumb screw on removable parts
- -Front mounted power, alarm reset, KB lock,
- -PS failure alarm, fan failure alarm, over temperature alarm
- -HDD activity LED's, system reset switches, Lockable front door
- (1) 20 I/O slot passive backplane (8,14 or 20 slot PCI/ISA optional).
- (1) passive backplane motherboard (Pentium 4) with built-in SVGA &
mutiple Serial/parallel ports.
- (1) 80 Gig. IDE hard drives (2 for RAID-1).
- (1) RAID-1 IDE drive mirroring card.
- (1) 1.44 meg. floppy drive.
- (1) CD R/W drive.
- * Dialogic telephony boards (and optional AMP cables/assessories).
- * optional SC BUS ribbon cable(s) for Dialogic cards
NOTE: The following are recommended for remote monitoring:
- (1) External modem for remote system control.
- (1) 1000 watt UPS (Uniterruptable Power Supply) with enviroment
monitoring, alarm, remote re-boot, and automatic "call-home" features
